Imagine the guy in Iraq that has finally begun to realize that what the U.S. has done for him so far has, all in all, been good for him, and things are beginning to show progress.
Then he hears the American media shouting about how it's time to fold the tent and pull up stakes.
He realizes that at this point if the Americans leave before Iraq is ready to take care of itself, the "insurgents" (call them terrorists), will in all likihood take Iraq back to what it was like when Hussein ran the joint. He's going to "sit on the fence" for awhile, noncommital until he see's how his future is REALLY going to be influenced!!!
Our American media is a disgrace, and there ought to be some sort of a law that requires them to be honest and report the NEWS!!!!
